Sparkline Consulting is responsible for the personal data covered by this policy. It explains what we collect through this website and when you contact us, and what choices you have.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, phone number, email address and whatever you send us by WhatsApp, phone or email.
  • When you become a client: the details we need to do the work, such as your KRA PIN and your business and financial records.
  • If you accept cookies: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you reached the site, your device and browser, your general location, and clicks such as the WhatsApp button.

Why we use it

We use your data to reply to you, provide our services, meet our legal duties, and see which pages are useful so we can improve the site.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

  • Google, for website analytics, if you accept cookies.
  • The companies that run the services we rely on, such as WhatsApp, our email provider and our website host.
  • KRA and other authorities, when your work with us or the law requires it.

Some of these companies may handle your data outside Kenya.

Cookies

Google Analytics cookies are only set if you accept them, and can last up to two years. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page. The site works the same either way. Your browser also stores your light or dark theme and your cookie choice, and this stays on your device.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or for as long as Kenyan law requires us to keep tax and accounting records.

Your rights

Under Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019, you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how we use it, and withdraw your consent. To do any of these, contact us below. If you are not happy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner.
